OUR MISSION IS:   "To provide a quiet, peaceful, and natural environment prepared for adult discipleship programs that nurture Christian character and enrich the church".

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

The Deity of Christ

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His Miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood and His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father, where He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

Man

We believe Man (male and female) was created in the image of God but fell into sin, and his subsequent moral depravity requires regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation and abundant spiritual life.

Holiness

We believe those who receive Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and are called to a life of sanctification through the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Unity (The Body or the Church)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ and that His Church consists of all true believers.

The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, bodily and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ

Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of the believers to eternal life and joy with the Lord, and the resurrection of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting punishment.

At Cedar Springs Christian Retreat Center we also affirm:

We believe that marriage was established by God and is the exclusive, covenantal, lifetime union of one man and one woman. A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the church only to the extent that it is consistent with the biblical definition of marriage. Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:1-10; Romans 7:1-4; Ephesians 5:18-33
